365 Day Project - Week 4

Definitely had an interesting week here! Got a blizzard that accumulated about 2 feet of snow, which resulted in my car getting snowed in and a snow day =]

February 2nd: Shot of the church on campus. You can see that the snow clouds are coming!

February 3rd: I made cinnamon vanilla pancakes during the snow day because it was the first morning I've had off in ages! They were delicious =]

February 4th: The amount of snow piled up behind my car made it a little difficult to get to work.

February 5th: Husky/possible wolf mix that's lost and found at work. He's so sweet!

February 6th: Tried reading more of The Origin of Species. Didn't work well when I was already falling asleep just sitting on the couch haha.

February 7th: Kevin was trying to get to a squirrel on the ledge outside =]

February 8th: Some really cool looking icicles I saw as me and my friend were walking her dogs.

Pretty eventful week with all the snow we got, and it's still all over the ground! I miss the warmth lol. Although, I do love how quite it gets out when there is snow on the ground =] I hope you all are enjoying the weather where you are, and now, another snow picture! (You'll get tired of these eventually lol).

365 Day Project - Week 3

First of February already! I had another social week; good for me, bad for homework lol. Picture time, this week was awesome =]

January 26th: I love this tree outside of the light rail station I take to school.

January 27th: Really cool looking cloud formation as I was driving around town.

January 28th: We got a Boa Constrictor at work! First one that I've seen while working there.

January 29th: Pledges for Pets Telethon set at work =] It was really cool and the shelter raised a good deal of money.

January 30th: Kevin and Leila playing with each other at about 6:30 in the morning. Kev kept knocking Leila off the edge of the tub, it was really funny!

January 31st: View of oncoming traffic as I walk across the bridge over the highway to the light rail station.


February 1st: Went bowling with my dad today and he got two strikes in a row and his score was 125 (for Buck25 =]) at the ninth frame!

It was a really fun week, and I enjoyed it =] Now in honor of the blizzard we are supposed to get tomorrow, here's some snow! Have a good week! =]

365 Day Project - Week 2

I know this is a day late, but yesterday was a purely social day! Although I didn't get anything productive done lol, it was fun. Now on to the pictures!

January 19th: Kevin sat on my keyboard in the middle of the night and decided to add some notes to my post it!

January 20th: Day in the life of my lab job.

January 21st: Suka! An Alaskan Malamute at work that hopefully got transferred to a Husky Rescue.

January 22nd: Saw this sign at work and it made me smile. Especially the wolf cub's face!

January 23rd: First time I was scheduled to work with SMAM's (AKA Small Mammals) all day. We got this rat in and he was too cute.

January 24th: Color changing fountain near my light rail station.

January 25th: Buck25 Day! A local band in my town, they are rock n' roll and voting just started on their day (1-25) to play at the Hard Rock in Denver =]

Pretty awesome week! And let me know if you'd want to vote for Buck25 to play at the Hard Rock, I'm helping promote =] Now I really wish I posted this yesterday so it had their number on the post date too lol. And since I keep rambling about how awesome Buck25 is, that will be my show off picture of the week! Have a Buckin' good week! =]

365 Day Project - Week 1

So I will be kicking off my first official blog with a project that I will thoroughly enjoy. I need something to remind myself to stay in good moods as college deliberately tries to make my life more stressful haha. I will be taking a picture every day for the whole year (I know, I'm starting late) that captures what I did for the day or what made me smile.

This week will be pictures that I have taken throughout the course of the past three weeks of the beginning of 2012, and then each week after that will be one picture for every day. I may even throw in one of my own pictures at the end of each that I've taken for my portfolio over the years! =]

January 1st: Went movie hunting with my parents and completely expanded my Disney movie collection =]

January 3rd: Still on Winter Break and I love messing with my cats =]

January 5th: My work station was hoarded lol.


January 6th: Bought a travel journal and guide for our trip in September =] The destination is a surprise!

January 9th: Souvenir of the scariest night of my life. Boyfriend and I had a carbon monoxide leak in our apartment and these are the oxygen tubes that the ambulance let us keep.


January 10th: Brand new hair! I've had it short before but never lightened.

January 12th: First family outing of the year to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D

January 18th: Kevin looking like a Sphinx made my morning.

And that's it for the first few weeks of the year! From here on out it will be one for every day with a blog once a week with the pictures. And now to show off =]
